The declaration came moments after the double-handed entry, Red Ruby, crossed the finish line at 20.51.35, a mere 24 seconds away from the time required to secure first place.
The Royal Malta Yacht Club has since confirmed that none of the remaining yachts still in the race could surpass Bullitt’s corrected time, sealing their triumph.

This year, over 100 yacht entries represented 26 different nations, highlighting the genuinely global appeal of this prestigious race. Following a strategic route between Marettimo and Favignana, they charted their course southward to Lampedusa, ultimately returning to Malta via Pantelleria.
